Irregular heart beat

Do you find your heart racing or skipping a beat for no apparent reason?

This is a common symptom of the menopause transition, and in the majority of cases are not an indication of heart problems. If you are short or breath, dizzy or have chest pains you should see your GP.

It might be beneficial to avoid stimulants such as alcohol and caffeine. Caffeine can often sneak into our diet through coffee, tea, energy drinks or even dark chocolate! Hydration is key. Why not switch your regular brew for a glass of water or herbal tea?
Meditation can also be helpful as it relieves stress and anxiety. There are many great apps that you can try for free. Why not try 10 - 15 minutes of meditation every day and see if it has a positive impact?
